Coastland was founded in 1991 to provide civil engineering, construction management, and building department services to public agencies spanning Northern California. Because we specialize in serving public agencies, we have a unique understanding of public agency needs, objectives, and impacts each project will have on the community. Our team achieves project goals through effective communication and an understanding of our clients’ needs. We work to foster open lines of communication and immediate response to client concerns and questions. The success of our clients is our highest priority.

Coastland has the depth of resources and expertise to provide a wide range of projects and services. Primarily known for City Engineering services, Coastland has grown over the past 18 years to include a full array of municipal services. Our experience includes providing in-house contract City Engineering, Capital Improvement Plan preparation and design, construction management and inspection, financing assistance, master planning and processing of developments. Our public works design and construction management experience includes streets, bikeways, pathways, parks, flood control and drainage facilities, bridges and other structures, airports, water and wastewater facilities, and a variety of other municipal projects.
