Coastland | DCCM exists to assist public agencies to plan, develop, design and construct critical infrastructure.

We provide civil engineering, construction management, and building safety services to public agencies spanning Northern California. Since we opened our doors in 1991, our projects have encompassed a wide variety of transportation, water, wastewater, drainage, flood control, and public facilities.

Our approach is a little different from most companies. We function as a trusted partner to our clients, becoming an integral part of their project team by serving as an extension of their staff.  This uncommon partnership helps our clients meet their specific service demands, especially when resources are limited.

We are pleased that 94% of our work comes from repeat clients. Cities, counties and special districts return to us many times over to partner on their projects which illustrates client confidence and satisfaction.

Coastland Joins DCCM

In 2021 Coastland joined the family of companies operated by DCCM, a national provider of design, consulting, and program / construction management services based in Houston, Texas.   This partnership allows us to tap into services through our sister companies to be able to provide our clients with a much broader range of services than we have in the past. In total, members of the DCCM Family of Companies have access to nearly 800 professionals, seamlessly networked together with shared access to work products, regardless of location.

We are excited about this new affiliation and want to reassure our valued clients and partners that we are still the same people you have worked with over the years.  Coastland | DCCM will remain the same local company our clients have known for the last 30+ years.  We will continue to work hard to maintain the trust you’ve placed in us.

The Coastland | DCCM partnership will benefit our clients and staff in many ways, including:

  • Access to additional resources, services and connections
  • Enhanced mentorship opportunities and career growth opportunities for our staff
  • The ability to handle a wider range of projects

“In my more than 10 years of working with Coastland staff, I have always found them to be responsive, professional, and above all, trustworthy.”
