Coastland | DCCM continues to grow to keep pace with the needs of our clients and communities. We are pleased to welcome and introduce the following people who have recently joined our team.

Tony Thomson

Construction Inspector

Tony Thomson joined the Coastland | DCCM team in 2023 as a Construction Inspector in our Auburn Office. Prior to joining Coastland | DCCM Tony was self-employed as a general contractor and brings 4 years of experience in managing all aspects of construction projects including site analysis, sub-contractors, design, construction, permitting and public outreach. As Construction Inspector for Coastland | DCCM Tony provides construction inspection services on a variety of public infrastructure and development projects.  

Ella Marie Quebral, EIT

Junior Engineer

Ella Marie Quebral works as a Junior Engineer in Coastland | DCCM’s Auburn office. Ella obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2023. As an intern at several engineering firms and the City of Atascadero Department of Public Works, Ella provided support on a variety of services including plan check processes, analysis of stormwater control measures, and drafting redlines on AutoCAD drawings. Ella also has experience using engineering software including AutoCAD, GIS, Revit, HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS.

Jason Lash

Construction Inspector

Jason Lash recently joined Coastland | DCCM as a Construction Inspector out of our Fairfield office. Jason has more than 8 years of experience providing inspection services including earthwork, geotechnical exploration, materials testing/quality control, special inspection, pipelines, paving, and stormwater pollution prevention plan monitoring services. Jason’s background includes providing detailed documentation in collaboration with clients, subcontractors, city agents, project managers, and team members for residential and commercial projects. He has monitored compliance with project plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and engineering recommendations. 

Matt Herman

Matt Herman

Assistant Construction Manager

Matt Herman recently joined the Coastland | DCCM team as an Assistant Construction Manager in our Auburn Office. Matt graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2022. While at Chico State Matt participated in research projects where he studied groundwater related problems and designed groundwater models for containment tracking. He was also a member of the United State’s Civil Engineering Honor Society, Chi Epsilon.

As an Assistant Construction Manager for Coastland | DCCM Matt will focus on providing support on public infrastructure and development projects.
