Project Description

As contract City Engineer of Piedmont, Coastland | DCCM staff works as a part of the Public Works team to provide consultation, design, construction management and inspection services to help execute the City’s annual capital sewer rehabilitation program. Our team also prepares annual reports and develops technical documents for compliance with legal orders and regulations.

The recent annual sewer rehabilitation project involved replacement (pipe bursting) of 4,000 feet of 6-inch and 8-inch sewer mains, sewer laterals, rehabilitation of manholes, new manholes and cleanouts. The project also included pavement and concrete repairs. Much of the construction was located in the back yards of private properties outside of the City right-of-way. Coastland | DCCM was successful at minimizing impacts to residents through frequent communication and monitoring efficient traffic control procedures.
