Project Description
As contract District Engineer since 2012, Coastland | DCCM has provided design, construction management and inspection services on the replacement of antiquated and undersized water system infrastructure throughout Guerneville, Rio Nido and Monte Rio in western Sonoma County. The construction improvements have been phased over the past few years and costs have ranged from $900,000 to $1.3M per phase. To date, 371 new services have been installed with a total of 26,253 linear feet of 2”, 4”, 6” and 8” water mains, 86 gate valves, 30 fire hydrant and valve assemblies and 33 existing well abandonments.
“Coastland has been a go-to firm for construction inspection services. Their staff constantly foresee issues before they happen, saving both time and tax payer money. Their in-the-trenches understanding – literally – of how to build projects and partner with contractors has been a benefit to our community.”
