Project Description

Coastland | DCCM provided plan check and inspection for the sustainable site design for the Yountville Community Center & Library. The LEED Platinum candidate project consisted of reconfiguring the 2.5-acre site, constructing a 10,000-square-foot Community Center building and renovating the existing Community Hall. Key components included site and grading design, including permeable plaza paving, heat island reduction, on-site stormwater reduction and treatment including bio-swales and rain gardens with an innovative subsurface stormwater detention/irrigation system that serves a water-conserving landscape. The project received the 2010 Savings by Design Energy Efficiency Award of Honor and the 2011 AIA San Francisco Citation Award.

“Coastland has assisted the Building Division with both large and small plan review projects - their attention to detail and quality of work is excellent.”
