Project Description
Coastland | DCCM is providing project management and design services for the construction of a new pipeline and pump stations to convey 1.5 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater from the City of Wheatland into a regional sewer system serving south Yuba County.
The project includes approximately eight miles of pipeline (pressurized force mains) that will connect to new Olivehurst Public Utility District (OPUD) facilities near Ostrom Road. The flow will be conveyed to OPUD’s wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), where it will be treated to a tertiary level and discharged into tributaries of the Feather River. Wheatland’s existing WWTP will eventually be decommissioned, and the site re-purposed for other uses.
